Q: Where are you located?
A: Our boutique is conveniently located at 357 Bury Road, Bolton, BL2 6BB in Greater Manchester. We are near to the A58, St Peter’s Way, local bus stops and a short ride from the Bolton Train Station. There is free parking just behind our boutique for your convenience. Q: How long do appointments last?
A: We schedule appointments to last 1.5 hours. The first hour is for trying on dresses and then 30 minutes for taking measurements and ordering the dress, when you find ‘the one’ with us. Group appointments for bridesmaids with parties of three or more can take slightly longer.
A: We recommend up to six dresses in the hour. We will do our best to make sure you try on the dresses that will suit your individual style and shape.
Q: What should I wear when trying on wedding dresses?
A: We recommend you wear neutrally coloured lingerie and a strapless bra. Also bring shoes similar to that which you will wear on the big day (heel height is important in measuring your gown’s length on order). Please wear minimal jewellery and no fake tan, to protect our delicate gowns.
Q: How many people can I bring to my wedding dress appointment?
A: We recommend bringing no more than two guests during a bridal appointment. (For bridesmaids appointments, please see below.) We welcome those closest to you, to share this special experience.
Q: How many people can I bring to my bridesmaid appointment?
A: We recommend bringing each bridesmaid if possible, so we can get accurate measurements to order their gowns. We will still be able to order your bridesmaids dresses if all ladies aren’t able to attend. Any bridesmaids unable to come in can be sent instructions on taking their own measurements, or if time is available to hold the order, they can come in on a separate date to be measured.
Q: Can I order your Bridesmaid & Occasion dresses in any colour?
A: Yes, our ‘Colour’ by Kenneth Winston Collection is available to order in a huge variety of over 60 different colours! It is also possible to order fabric samples, matching wraps, matching jackets and extra fabric in your chosen shade.
Q: How long will it take for my dress to arrive?
A: Order times vary, taking an average of 5 months to arrive with us. Some designers can accommodate shorter delivery times for an additional cost. We recommend allowing your dress to arrive at least 10 weeks prior to the big day so you can arrange your fittings accordingly. We also have some gowns which can be purchased off the peg and taken away the same day; a selection of these styles can be seen on our Special Offers page.
Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: On choosing your dress and accessories, a minimum 50% deposit is required. The remainder can be paid in instalments or when your order is ready to be sent to us. We will call to arrange your final payment and book in your gown collection. Your order will not be shipped to us until the final payment has been processed in full. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Discover, cash payment and even contactless card payment for smaller transactions.
Q: Do you offer alterations?
A: We can help with some changes and customisations to your dress, such as adding beading, straps, adding extra lace and changing design details, dependant upon the style of gown you choose. We also have contact details for local seamstresses who can advise further. They will discuss the price with you individually.
Q: How will you use my contact information?
A: We promise to keep all customer details completely secure and confidential. We do not release your information to any other companies or partners without first obtaining your personal consent.
